What we do
SATCD’s WASH pillar focuses on the water and hygiene needs that affect daily life at home, in schools and across communities. Its documented activities include providing water-treatment supplies, distributing water buckets and supporting menstrual hygiene education.
During the Leir Baawa intervention, three women’s groups received Aqua tabs and water buckets alongside agricultural and hygiene supplies.
SATCD also joined government representatives and partners at Loosuk Mixed Secondary School to mark Menstrual Hygiene Day under the theme “Period Friendly World.” The outreach promoted menstrual health information, access to quality products and period-friendly toilets. SATCD donated 300 sanitary kits to support students in managing their menstrual health with dignity.
