What we do

SATCD’s Livelihood and Enterprise Development pillar focuses on opportunities for people to strengthen their livelihoods through skills, resources and productive activities. Agriculture provides a practical starting point in the projects documented so far.

In Leir Baawa, SATCD worked with partners to provide farm tools and seedlings to three women’s groups. The intervention supported women’s participation in agriculture and formed part of a broader distribution of household health and hygiene supplies.

Kitchen-garden support offers another example, combining certified seeds, gunny bags and farm inputs to help households grow food. Together, these stories show how practical agricultural support connects livelihoods with household wellbeing.
