What we do

SATCD’s work under this pillar centres on dignity, inclusion and opportunities to participate in community development. Practical support for women and girls connects health, education and livelihoods, recognising that these needs often overlap.

In Leir Baawa, SATCD and its partners supported three women’s groups with farm tools, seedlings, water buckets, Aqua tabs and sanitary towels. The intervention combined agricultural support with everyday health and hygiene needs.

At Loosuk Mixed Secondary School, SATCD’s participation in Menstrual Hygiene Day addressed menstrual dignity through awareness, information and the donation of sanitary kits. These activities support the organisation’s commitment to helping women and girls participate more fully in community life.
